CUTE STUFF AND MAKEUP

Today, I had the opportunity to go to the Mickey Contractor collection preview (at my local Mac pro store in Paris), I've only bought two items from this collection:  Siahi  fluidline and  Atma  quad. I was expecting to see a special packaging something like the Manish Arora collection, but no. Perhaps it's because Mickey Contractor is just a makeup artist and Manish Arora a designer, it might be an explanation according to me. I like the Cham Pale collection so much, that yesterday I took my mom to a Mac corner. I bought her a lipgelée Luxure and a lippie Quiet Please. Luxure, Quiet Please Luxure Left: Luxure, Right: Quiet Please Quiet Please is barely noticeable on my skin tone, but perfect for my mom who is very fair.

Today, it was rainy and cold but I wake up early to be one of first to get the Cham Pale collection, this is a very shimmery collection. I especially like the lipgelées. I was expected to get 3 more items: I Get No Kick eye khôl, Soirée nail lacquer and Chilled On Ice paint pot, I didn't took them. I finally bought the Caviar dream Quad, Dangerous Cuvée, Let Me Pop, Vintage Selection and Bubble Lounge lipgeléé.  Let's take a look at my babies :) Let Me Pop Dangerous Cuvée Vintage Selection Caviar Dream Quad 1st row: Brulé, Retrospeck 2nd row: Et tu, Bouquet?, Caviar Dreams Bubble Lounge Bubble Lounge, Resort Life left: Resort Life , right : Bubble Lounge Resort Life and Bubble Lounge are almost similar according to me, Bubble Lounge is a bit darker and beige. There're all limited edition paint pots but  Rubenesque   As I said, I wanted to buy  Chilled On Ice but when I tried it, it looked pretty similar to my KIKO...

Here is the MAC Jeanius Collection for Spring 2011. MAC introduces new printed eyeshadows. The collection includes 4 new printed eyeshadows Diva in Distress (LE) Motorhead (LE) Stove Pipe Black (LE) White Jeanius (LE) 3 Lipglasses Docile (LE) Indigo Pink (LE) Painted On (LE) 3 Lipsticks Acid Washed Pretty Please (LE) Repromote from Fabulous Feline collection Reviting Rose 2 Blushes Overdyed (LE) Pink Cult (LE) 2 Nail Lacquers Biker Blue Frayed-to-Order (LE) Penultimate Brow Maker Penultimate Eye Liner  Penultimate Eye Liner I thought MAC would do a special packaging for this collection, but they didn't. This collection doesn't really appeal me, I'll certainly save money this time. Or perhaps I'll change my mind when I'll see swatches.

Two days ago, I'd done my Christmas shopping at the Champs-Elysées and decided to go to Sephora just to lurk new makeup stuff, I found the "Enchanted Glamourland" by Too Faced, even if  I had seen it before on many blogs, I didn't mean to buy it. (I wanted to buy the Urban Decay Book of Shadows III instead, but didn't find it so special when I saw it on store). I took my final decision when I made some swatches, and I decided to buy it, the colors are amazing, smooth and easy to apply, the Label Whore shade is very similar to Blue Brown pigment.  I really like the pixie theme for this Winter collection 2010, last year it was the Marie-Antoinette theme. The palette contains many little treasures:  Pillow Talk lipgloss,  Shadow Insurance  primer, La Vie en Rose  blush, Snow Bunny bronzing powder and 15 eyeshadows. At the end of November 2010, Nicki Minaj collaborated with Mac and designed a limited edition lipstick " Pink Friday " to celebrate the release of her debut album Pink Friday. It is only available online, it's a creamy pink satin formula and I've decided to order it last week for two reasons : I like Nicki she's a great artist and also because I love the shade, it's a perfect Barbie pink color. I don't have a lot of eyeliner pencils and greasepaints because I prefer eyeshadows or pigments. I keep most of my pencils in my Hello Kitty pencil case. I have 3 Mac ( Iris Accents, Industrial, Pinkie) , 1 Bourgeois ( #62  Brun Mordoré) , 1 MUFE ( 3L ) and 1 Sephora ( #04 Flashy Green)  eyeliner pencils.
