CUTE STUFF AND MAKEUP

For Spring 2011, Paul & Joe is launching another gorgeous collection inspired by flowers, sunny days and romantic spring afternoons : Parasol. The collection includes a cosmetic pouch with floral patterns 3 lipsticks #071 Afternoon Delight, #070 Hong Tillie, #069 Outdoor 3 Eye color sets 5 Duo Eye colors and 5 nail lacquers 1st row eye color set: #070 Petticoat, #072 Taffeta, #071 Ribbon, 2nd row duo eye colo: #001 Shime, #002 Umbrella Woman, #003 Beams, #004 Picnic, #005 Blue Sky, 3rd row nail lacquer: #011 Prism, #010 Spring Glory, #009 Light, #008 Sunshine, #007 Wood Yin I've already prepared my wish list for this collection, of course I'd like to get everything but it's impossible, I have to pick up just a few items because I'm also waiting for Mac Spring collection (Wonder Woman) and I have to save money to get the items I want.

Because Paul & Joe is fresh and has gorgeous patterns for its cosmetics products, and I also like the way they display their products on their stand, but not only. Even if the sales clerks are not really friendly in France (compare to US), I've noticed a very interesting fact about the launch of each collection, Paul & Joe edits a kind little newspaper which is a reminder of the collection, it shows you its content and the names of items. I think it's a very good idea to publish a reminder of the products launched, because it's easier for me to pick up what I really want and I don't need to seek for the product name or description on Internet.

At the beginning of November, I bought a set of the Winter collection Symphony by Paul & Joe at Asos . I picked  # 002 Allegro, it contains: 1 satin pouch, 5 eyeshadows cards and a rose shaped lip gloss, it's so gorgeous that I won't use it! The eyeshadows cards are not really easy to use, you have to use use a blush to apply them.

I know that it came out a while ago, but as I've decided to write a blog about the stuff I like I'm gonna talk about Alice in Wonderland. I love Alice she's one of my favorite character, I saw the movie at the theater made by Tim Burton and I liked it. I was also impressed by the buzz around the Alice theme, in Paris there were so much events and exhibitions around the movie, many brands launched products for this event. LaDurée made a special display at Printemps Haussman, there was a temporary café looking like the Mad Hatter tea party :) Macaroons are my favorite pâtisseries :D    In the store, it was like a magical place where everything seemed to be suspended in the air. The deer is amazing Mad Tea Party Decoration La Durée temporary café Outside the Printemps de la mode, fashion designers made clothes about the Alice movie characters.  The scenes really look unreal And of course, the cosmetic industry made gorgeous product...

I've just bought one beauty powder from the Sahara Collection, but I didn't really like the other items   I bought it at  Asos  , it was cheaper than the original price in France :)

According to me, it's one of the cutest lippy collection launched by Paul & Joe. I really like the kitten lipsticks but don't dare to use them, I don't have the heart.  I almost buy, I say almost the whole collection, I took : - the 3 lippies #068 Moonshadow , #067 Over the Moon and the #69 Clair de Lune ( I gave that one to a friend of mine for her birthday, she didn't use it yet because, she doesn't want to damage the cute little kitty face, I didn't use mine neither :D ). - and the 3 face and eye powders Blue Moon, Silvery Moon and Paper Moon :) Moonshadow                                                                   Over the Moon  An old Paul & Joe Collection (Fall 2009), I like to collect anything related to cats, especially if it's makeup.
